how to was my car rims?

my car rims are plain they are the stock rims im guessing their aluminum rims(correct me if im wrong)

they are the rims that came with the car, so how do I wash them?

can I even wash them and make them look good?

and what to use to wash the body of the car? i know i need water but what else and whats a major retailer that I can purchase it from?
