Obviously you don't connect the drives directly to the card. The included cables I gather would connect to an enclosure for the drives. More information on this would be appreciated.

Please keep opinions of the example card to yourself. I came across it and wanted to learn more about the aspects of using such a design. I'm not supporting nor endorsing the product, nor am I considering purchasing it or any other like it at this time. It was the first result in a search on NewEgg.
