how to use my straight talk nokia surge as a modem for my laptop

recently got a nokia surge frm straight talk and want to use as a modem, running nokia pc suite on my pc, has an option to use phone as modem, but it asks for a password, called cusomer care, said it was not possable. Anyone have any suggestions
