I just purchased a vehicle (used) that has a remote starter. I have never used one of these before. I know how to start the car using the remote but then what do I do next? Do I put the key in the ignition? Do I turn the key as if I am starting it? I am afraid to try anything because I don't want to damage the starter. one time i placed it on ignition and im hearing beeps at intervals. when i got out off the car, it shut itself off even with the key on ignition.
