I've never used an off camera flash before, I bought a 580exII speedlight that should work as master & slave (I'm still learning lingo too).
The person at the store told me that my on camera flash should be able to set off the 580exII wireless if I use it as a slave? Is that true? And how do I do it? I tried setting the 580 on a tripod, but nothing.
Or do I need to hook this up with wires or buy a separate wireless connector?
