what im needing to know is how to be able to share this internet connection between computers

the blackberry is connected thru a usb port and has software from verizon to make the connection

any ideas
Ok. I was able to get that to work. Now my next question. Any ideas on how to make my tivo connect thru the tether

Yes. You can connect your Blackberry to one computer (Computer One), and then plug your router in the network (ethernet) jack. Computer One (the computer that the blackberry is connected to) will assign (via DHCP) the router an IP. and then your other computers will get the 192.168. etc addresses and connect through your first computer's connection.

If you are on the edge network, or the blackberry network, remember, it's going to be slow.

Just be sure to go to the internet setting for the dial-up and set it to "share"
