How to use a masking in Flash cs3?

I want to get a head to come out of a puddle , ive drawn the head and turned it into a movie clip so it can tween and come up and out but i dont want the head to show outside of the puddle otherwise it will look wrong.
how can i use the mask effect to only get the head to appear once inside the puddle area?
