How to upload brushes to paint shop pro?

when i try and upload brushes to paint shop pro i download a brush then extract all files into my documents then i open paint shop pro and i open the brushes and i click file>import>custom brush>choose the brush>ok and it stores what i called the brush into custom brushes but when i try and use the brush its just a circle? HELP! please
