hey Guys just tell me if i am doing the right way.
1. i will update my iphone 3GS to 4.1 thorugh itunes
2. will jailbreak through greenpoision.
but i m confused about the .IPSW file.....do i have to download it????/ or dont......
will this erase my contacts songs etc......
asking this coz i had a iphone 3G and i updated it thru itunes and jailbreaked it with REDSNOW and redsnow asked for a .IPSW file and i had to download that thing.......but it worked and my iphone 3G is working fine on 4.1.......
so my question is
do i download iphone restore.ipsw file for 3gs....and plzz tell me what its use for.....
or just i follow the steps i have mentioned above......
