how to unlock zv40

hi,
i have a samsung zv40 vodafone locked. i have orginal usb data cable for it also. i have umts unlock software with zv40 model but it has com port tilll 30 but it is connecting above com port 40 on my system.
how can i change comport selection or is ther any other way to unlock this model.

Connect AccessoryGoto Device manager.Click on Com port which is used by ur AccessoryClick on Properties.Click 2nd tab (in win xp) Port SettingAdvanceNow u can See Drop Down in front of Com Port Setting.Select any free port upto 30Log off ur PC Better RestartVoila Al Done
then Do the Job what u wana Do.

thanks for reply. is comport shorting necessary for zv40 i have done that for zv10 earlier. any way iwill try changing usb properties and tell.

you can't uhnlock ZV40 with free or with payed (box) soft
no solution support unlock for this phone

hey.
i have the same problem. this summer i bought zv40 in Irelnd (vodafone locked). but i live in Lithuania (poor, small country and here vodafone doesn't work. so now i don't know what to do, cause in Lithuania nobody knows how to unlock this phone on the internet i saw ads, that it's possible to buy a code and unlock this phone. is it true? maybe you tried that?
please help me, cause i really don't know what to do
