how to unlock the i pod touch< for transfering music to a new computer?

i had a old g-4 mac< like more the ten years old< bout i had my i pod touch connected to it, its not working now, i think its a problem with the power supply and its gone. i now am useing another g-4, and want to keep my music pics, and videos on the i touch, i heard theres a web site that shows you how to unlock i pods, want to know what the website is, or atlest how to save the stuff on my i pod
