How to unlock iphone?

i have this iphone 1g that has no sim card. i want to use my att sim card that i have now and put it in my iphone so that i can use it for calling and texting. i don't wanna add a data package with att. also this iphone is jailbroken.
 
Does the iPhone has a SIM card slot? Ensure if it is a GSM network locked iPhone. Then find put the network to which it has been locked to.
