I just updated my iphone 3g firmware to 4.0.1 and i went to jailbreakme.com to jailbreak it and it installed cydia successfully. I then went into cydia and installed ultrasn0w to unlock it, but went I put my t-mobile sim card in, the iphone does not recognize it and says connect to itunes sim card not detected. I have the flex pay monthly plan for t-mobile w/ 500 mins ulimited text & web which should be compatible with the iphone once unlocked. What am I doing wrong and how can I unlock it?
I did go into cydia and tried to install the tweak for t-mobile carriers but it failed to install. And then I tried to re-install ultrasn0w with the t-mobile sim card inside this time but the second i pop the t-mobile sim card inside it stil says diffrent sim detected conect to itunes Why isn't ultrasn0w unlocking my iphone?
