My parents installed net nanny on my computer. Not cool.
So now, as I am applying for different schools, I am in dire need of my facebook. The only way for me to contact my shadow hosts is through facebook, since I do not know their phone numbers or email addresses. (Honestly, I'm a good kid - I barely ever use facebook for other things)
I did a system restore, and I am the administrator of my computer operating on windows 7.
I don't see net nanny in the control panel or add or remove programs ( but then again I never thought to check for it before) and I have run numerous scans for potential key loggers
But just to be safe, is there any other way for my to be absolutely sure that net nanny is gone, and to block net nanny in the browsers? The net nanny on my computer would be the newest version, whatever it is.
Oh! And I was wondering if it would be possible for anyone to evade password protection and still put parental controls on the computer through safe mode. Any way to make sure that doesn't happen as well?
