how to undo text html code on myspace?

ok so i want to bold something on my profile but it wont bold.
so im thinking there is an html code that doesn't let bolding happen. how can i find this code or undo this code???
 
Yes theres a code that can be in your layout that don't show bold and its hard to find so i'm going to say to just find another layout you like then use <br>your text</b>
