I got my phone in California but I recently moved to Mississippi. When I first got to MS, my phone hardly worked at all. I had to take my phone to the Verizon store. At the store, the service rep. dialed something to turn on the Mississippi towers. After she did that, I got much better reception.
However, I recently went home to visit my family in Minnesota. Somehow my phone must have switched to pick up MN towers. Because now I'm back in Mississippi and I can't get reception and my phone isn't picking up the local towers.
Do you know how to turn on the local towers? I think the rep. said she dialed * and then three numbers. I have no idea which numbers they were. I can't call the Verizon Wireless customer service number on my phone since I can't even use it now. I don't want to have to drive 30 minutes to the local Verizon store to have it fixed again.
