how to trust ebay in buying a laptop?

so i want 2 buy a laptop of ebay but how can i be sure it is genuine and that the seller won't rip me off, i know that it shows the percentage of positive feedback but i've noticed on forums ppl buying laptops and getting ripped off even though the seller has 99% positive feedback
