Hello. I have a large wound, about 1.5"x2.5". It's on the surface and not deep. I've been keeping it clean with soap and water and bandaged up with antibotic cream (neosporin). Daily I change the bandage because it becomes soggy with the blood and pus. Should I be wiping that stuff off before putting the bandaid on? Also is it a good idea to give it air (I'm afraid infections may happen if I leave it exposed)? Although it's only been a few days, it seems like keeping it bandaged up is just keeping it moist and visually althought it doesn't look like it's getting worse, it doesn't look like it's getting any better.
