...shareware transfer program? The main problem is of course that I am unable to transfer at least photographs taken on a 4g iPod touch to a PC from within iTunes -or- an explorer window(that is, the device, while visible in iTunes, is not visible there).
I am well aware that questions similar to this have been asked on this site before, and have been answered with suggestions to download 3rd party shareware programs for this expressed purpose.
I, however do not want to pay extra for software to transfer data I already own between hardware I already own, and the shareware versions of said software have all been insufficient thus-far.
SO....I pose the question of how to transfer this data from iPod to PC using only the hardware and software currently at my disposal.
(iTunes & iPod are both updated to their most recent software versions, PC is running a late version of Windows Vista Home Premium)
If for some reason there is no way to accomplish this, I would appreciate an explanation of why it is so, and maybe if there is likely to be any solution in the foreseeable future.
