How to torque rocker bolts in tight spaces?

I have set of Woods 555 cams on the way from Fuel Moto and plan to reuse the stock pushrods, which requires removing the rocker box covers ard rocker arms.

In several places there is not enough room between then rocker box cover and rocker arm bolts to get a torque wrench in there.

Is the best method for properly tightning these bolts to use a torque adapter simliar to these http://www.mcmaster.com/#torque-wrench-adapters/=8m5j27

Is it also true that if the adapter is on the torque wrench at 90 degrees that the torque wrench setting will be the same as when using no adapter?

Any other tips or suggestions for torquing these bolts?
 
any adapter that is not straight on a torgue wrench will throw the reading off

Personally I'd be cutting the push rods and the covers with bolt cutters and using the 2 piece adjustables and leave the top end intact. The 2 piece ones are a proven design and I have never heard of a failure of a properly installed set
 
i made a couple adapters out of a couple old box end wrenches lying around, cut and welded...and yes 90 degrees to the wrench keeps the torque correct
 
There are torque calculators that will put you close using the extensions you speak of.
I bought mine dog bones through Acklands here in Canada for about $40.00 bucks .
Snap On and MAC have them as well.
I do not have the part number handy to pass on right now.
Just follow the instructions in the manual for pattern and final spec, it is inch pounds your dealing with.
The new rocker covers compared to the three piece evo ones are way better in my opinion.
