Thread about 4 inches of line through the eye and tie a simple half knot, leaving a little slack; then wind the loose end around and up the line about 9-11 times. At the top insert the free end back through the top loop then down towards the hook, passing it under the half knot and back through the eye. Lastly, to tighten and set the knot pull the free end firmly away from the "supply" line and with your thumbnail shove the windings around it towards the hook eye. It isn't as hard as it sounds; practice a little and it will get easy.
