ok I used to be a lontime helio customer but just like any other carrier they charge too damn much.. Since I flashed my Drift over to Cricket Ive been trying to work on getting wap/mms working but the closest ive come is just being able to tether.
1. Make sure you have the right drivers installed so the Puter with recognize the phone http://www.helio.com/livefiles/support/PCLinkPro.zip download and install pclink and when it asks for which drivers to install choose drift after this your drift should show up in your device manager as a Samsung Mobile Modem
2. Next set up a DUN connection (Dial Up Networking)
username [email protected]
password cricket
Dial string #777
3. Before you go testing things out theres one last important step to do
on your phone press menu once in the menu screen hold 0 it will ask for a password which is 6725 next go down to SIO Mode > Port Map > Data Service in here make sure USB CDC is selected then hit end call button to exit out now you should be ready to test the connection if all goes well you should be able to connect and surf the web ... One thing to keep in mind is that after you end the connection somtimes the Data service will revert back to Null so you will have to repeat the steps and switch it back to USB CDC incase you get an error
