How to tell "women" in my History of Women class to stop texting!!!!!!?

So,I am in this COLLEGE class where several student's text during the whole class.I mentioned it to the Professor who said she would e-mail the class and never did{which kind of condones it) I AM BEYOND INSULTED BY THIS!!!The syllabus states having respect for the instructor,fellow classmates and yourself. This is COLLEGE and I know this is a problem for many colleges but these women sit in a course about women's history and have no respect for what's being taught.I am a non-traditional student and I was raised with the idea of respecting peers and an instructor and want to write something I can pass out to the class about just that ,women respecting themselves and others.That I find it beyond rude is an understatement and I have outright told these classmates of it to no avail!!!

chill. out. Why don't you just follow the lesson in stead of trying to to be the "mom" of ever one else. If they fail it's their fault.

Don't tell them, cause you are outnumbered, they wouldn't listen to you, because they all agree with themselves, so they have each others' support.
