Two part question:
I know how to tell the difference between the official anime DVDs & Hong Kong bootlegs, but I'm not so sure about soundtracks. Is there any obvious differences for CDs besides price & location? (Like how DVDs always say Region 0 & made by "FX," etc.)
Also, does Hong Kong make bootleg books? I've seen several Japanese Final Fantasy guides, etc. on some sites for about $30-$50 but these sites also sell bootleg DVDs, so I'm not sure if the books are real or not. If so, is there a way to tell with these as well?
Normally I can tell these things by price & the fact that they're all from Hong Kong, but I'm going to a con soon & I hear that sometimes bootlegs sneak in there too (and considering that con stuff is probably more expensive anyway, they might raise their prices to match official items...). Thanks for your help!!! ^_^
