so im interested in buying a car (1995 Mazda MX6 with 108k miles), except when i talked to owner he said the only thing it needs is an a/c recharge. How can i figure out that all it needs is a recharge, that its not the condenser for example. Any suggestions or ways to tell while test driving? Also I guess if you want to add a suggestion if mazda mx6's are good reliable cars. Let me know, thanks!

For $20 you get a can of AC charge with a small guage on it. Get this, attach it to the only port on the AC it will fit, and start the engine.

Read the guage and see what it indicates, you can tip it upside down and try putting some of the coolant in to see if it takes it. Its about the cheapest thing I can think of if you really want the car.
