How to tell if my fish is preg. or not? see ad.info?

Okay so like 3 weeks ago, i got 2 beta fish- male/female
and uuhmm i put them into the same tank just for a few secs and he tried to kil her....BUT NOW (3w. later) i put him in w. her again, and i didn't watch for like a minute.... i returned, removed him, and now she looks preg. I read about them, and it says she gives birth instantly, unlike other fish... is this tru? plz help... lol i dont need 400 baby betas
 
Bettas are eegg-layers THe way they do this is when male is able to produce a "bubble nest" in which the females eggs are put into. So just look around for bubbles then either dispose or grow them to get a chance of profit by selling it back
