How to tell if eharmony email is spam or not?

I saw my bf's inbox and it had emails from eharmony. I want to know if they were spam or not (I didn't read them). All I remember is that they had different girl's names in the subject line. What would the subject line be if they are spam? I just don't want to confront him yet since I know a a lot of people get junk email from this site.
