Theres this E-7 who isn't directly in my chain of command but who happens to be pals with the E-7 who is. We have to work in the same room and he is constantly putting his nose where it doesn't belong - reading my personal emails over my shoulder, asking to see my LES, even telling me to show him my bank balance at one point. He and I don't get along. Name calling, put downs, etc are pretty much the norm with this guy. I'd love to get him in trouble with someone higher but that would just come rolling back down on me so I'm going to avoid that for a while.
So, what is an good way in this situation to tell him to get the fuck out of my business without taking this way over both of our heads?
