how to take the mufflers off a mazda 6?

i have a 2007 mazda 6 4 cyl and its my only car i can get but i want it to have a little more tone but cant afford an exhaust so i was looking under neath the car and noticed the the mufflers looked bolted on but i didn't know if they were welded or not so if you could help or have any suggestions that would be great
