I have a generic Cannon PowerShot A1000 IS. I was just wondering what are some good setting to make portrait pictures come out good. I know it also has to do with how you take the picture, tips? My camera when it takes pictures they look cheap like you took them with a regular old camera. When I take pictures of people how do you get it to where the person is crisp and clear, but their background is blurry. I know it's a lot, but thanks for any tips of help.
