A note on taking notes.. (and probablyTHE most impotant rule)

Make sure you can write AND listen at the same time. Otherwise, you'd end up confused and dazed when you try to read your notes after class while realizing you don't understand anything that you've written down.

I suggest highlighting. Color coding really makes important sections stick out and it's easier to recognize when you go back and reread.

but in terms of note taking in general. don't focus on writing every little thing down, Take the time and pay attention. Write down key words that you can go back later and elaborate on.

Don't stress over it. Relax and as long as you have the chapter's or the study guide, there's always a chance to do research later and elaborate.

Good Luck!
