how to take a rotor out of a mazda?

my pickup wont run and Ive replaced the cap and wires plus the ignition coil. Ive tried adjusting the timing. -no dice =) ive heard taking the rotor out improperly might hurt it. :(
 
No, the rotor is keyed meaning it has a flat edge which only lets you install the rotor on the correct way. Usually you just pull it straight up. I would check that you installed the wires in the correct order. The rotor usually only has to be replaced if its badly pitted or cracked.
