How to Synch a folder on T5

Hi all,

I have just purchased a nice 2 GB expansion card for my T5 so I can use it as an MP3 player for music and podcasts. But, I can't figure out how to get my T5 to sync the podcast download folder each time I do a hot sync. Surely there must be a simple way!? Surely Palm anticpated that as well as wanting to sync certain documents and individual files the user may want to sync entire folders!?

Maybe realplayer can do it? I'm using v1.6 I think for the palm. Any ideas?

Please, someone point out the stupid mistake I have been making so I can get on with enjoying my first palm, which has been great so far.

The Quick Install is designed for files - not folders. And to avoid overly long hot syncs - you have to tell it that you want "all" files in a folder. You are in a Palm environment. If you want all of the files in a folder - then you are going to have to select all of those files.

The quickest transfer method would be a card reader/writer compared to hot sync. And MP3 files usually have to be loaded to the Audio folder (older devices for certain) in order for some players to be able to play them.

I know of no way to do what you are asking, which is to have a folder contents sync everytime you do a hot sync you have to add media via the desktop component in order for it to sync.

Perhaps someone else has figured out a way as I'm not a big proponent of podcasts......
