how to sync music to ipod using windows media?

i drag all the music i want to my list pane but it keeps telling me to connect a device but my ipod is plug up into the monitor/computer
 
You can't with Windows Media, but try to right click on the MP3 and click Open With iTunes, then just click the sync button and hopefully it'll sync with your iPod :)
