How to sync a phone in a Ford Edge 2008...?

Does anyone know how I can make my phone like hands free? I don't have software or anything...

I have a Ford Edge 2008. Just in case you need to know where it's located it's in Dubai, UAE.

I heard you need something called SYNC but is there anyway I can connect my phone without it??
BTW I have a Blackberry..
