How to switch to handset while connected to a C300 bluetooth?

I have a MB C300 and I have the hands-free bluetooth all setup and ready to go, however I noticed after frequently using it that I wouldn't like other passangers in the car to over hear the conversation. In my other car, I have the option to switch to handset in the middle of a call, I was wondering if that is possible in the C300?

I have looked through the owners manual briefly and couldn't find anything on the issue, thought maybe someone had their own technique.
 
depends on the phone.
ie, i have an a900 and a jabra. when i'm on a call, i have an options menu on th escreen in which is 'switch to' which ever i'm not currently using (speakerphone or handset). this is the wonderful aspect of your users manual.
however, i never read mine and simply looked at the screen...
