HOW TO SWITCH QUICK TIME PLAYER TO WINDOWS MEDIA?

Please somebody help me!! I'm trying to edit this video but its telling me that i need to switch all my videos to WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER and i have QUICK TIME PLAYER.. hellp please!
 
ok right click on any video dat opens up with quicktime

on right click menu of the video

click "Open with" >> then click "Choose Default Program..."

it will come up with some programs if Media Player Is not There Browse for It paste thin in the address bar of windows explorer

C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player
 
Is it asking you to put them into Window Media Player format?

If the editor you are using is Windows Movie Maker, it might be asking for files in .mpeg or .wma format. If so, there are free converters online.

To change the file assotations in windows (so your files will play in Windows Media Player) you need to go to Control Panel.

Where you go from there depends on which operating system you use.

For vista go to: programs -> Default programs: set your default programs.
For XP go to: Default programs: set your default programs.
