How to study for this kind of test?

Okay well today (Friday) when I got home I checked the mail to see a letter from my school! It stated they will be giving a test to determine who is gifted/talented. I really want to do good on this test b/c it would make me look better for colleges.

So my question is how do I study for this kind of test?
 
I took one of those back in elementary school because my district has a program for the Intellectually Gifted. We had an IQ test, that was it. They also did a psychological evaluation to make sure we could handle stress. Typically these aren't the types of tests to study for.
