how to study for exams and tests?

if your teachers give you study guides,
write down all the questions on a piece of paper and the answers.
then re-write everything a couple times,that will work.

Works for me.
Oh and my teacher told us this;

If you study to remember,you'll forget, But
if you study to understand you'll remember
Ahaha.Hope that helpsss!

Each subject is different, and every person studies differently but I suggest:

-Write all your notes in the form of Question and Answer then continually test yourself. (you can also use flashcard websites for this like Quizlet and Flash Card Machine)

-Look at a page of notes. Say them aloud, hell sing them aloud until you think you know/understand it all. Then close the book and do a mind map of everything on that page you remember. Right everything you forget in a different colour. Look at the full mindmaps then after a few minutes draw it again on the back and try and remember everything. Do this for every page (or every topic if you have less time).

-Ask nicely for your parents or siblings to test you, that is a great way to learn. Or do practice papers.

- Go on the exam website and print out the specification (or if internal exams you might have a list of revision point or a list of topics from the beginning of term). Cross off everything you already know in one colour, in a different colour cross off everything as you learn it. This is really motivating as you cross of more and more topics. Plus these ensure you only revise what you need to.

Good luck!!

Tomorrow! mateyou left it a bit late lol. i usually start like 1 or 2 weeks before depending on the exam.

man people like to make flash cards with questions on one side and answers on the other.
i just like to make notes in my own words from information from books or internet etc. then i re-read it until i remember it. then i get someone to test me
