I am preparing to buy a Panasonic 3DTV with the starter package, glasses, etc. I would also like to be able to play games, view photos, and watch videos that are available on my PC, for obvious reasons. In order to do this, will I have to purchase the $200 package from NVidia and only use their glasses? Or could I just download the NVidia software and use the glasses coming with my Panasonic screen?
Come to think of it, I'd also like to know whether I'll need to buy the Blu-Ray player or if I can just play them from my computer. It's a Macbook Pro (old, aluminum surface with black around the screen) running Windows 7 on bootcamp.
(there has to be a better way of adding comments)
I am wondering whether a Mac can read Blu-Ray discs; I'm rather new to this technology. Also, I update my computer's hardware enough so that it has a compatible driver. At least, according to NVidia's compatibility checker.
