How to speed up BitTorrent?

Its REALLY slow recently. It used to download at about 200kb/s but now it averages around 7kb/s.

I've added a port forwarder and i have the ideal settings for bit torrent.

The other thing is, It used to be faster BEFORE I got fiber optic broadband... which makes no sense.

Any idea on how to speed it up?
its got 50 seeders. which is more than most of the otrrents i download have. I've downloaded a 3gb torrent in 1 day at the old 200kb/s (or around that) with 25 seeders.
 
depends on the seeders who downloaded the same torrent and are finished, and support by seeding, the more seeders the faster the download
