laptops.....? I have a new hp laptop windows 7, a trendnet tew-432brp wireless router, and an xp laptop. Before today, in place of the new laptop was a work station that my aircard would hook into and my xp laptop used wirelessly and worked great for the last couple of years. Now I have replaced the workstation with a new hp laptop and I cannot install the trendnet software as it keeps saying "Error 108 no router detected". I can share files between the two but cannot share the internet connection - nor make the trendnet software finish installation. the xp laptop says that it is connected to trendnet but IE does not work so I'm guessing it can still see the router but the new hp laptop does not. the initial network was setup by our IT guy but I know it will work and I'm hoping I can do it without having to pay him to come out. Besides, we're up to our ears in snow and he probably wouldn't be able to get out here anyway! I'm an okay techie, so any help would be appreciated!
