how to sex rhode island reds?

my friend just dropped of 6 rhode island reds pretty new to the whole chicken world he said i have 1 male and the rest female but i cant tell the diff. how can i check the diff from the males and females???? he said they are about 14 weeks old
 
well the males typically have a larger comb and tail feathers, and are just larger in general...and of course they crow, but at first it may acctually sound like someone is strangleing them lol...
and of course you could vent sex them, which will give you a deffinate answer
 
Wait a bit longer, males have longer tails and a bigger wattle and have a spur on each leg (just looks like an extra claw on the side of their leg)
