Ok so heres what i'm trying to do... The city I live in gives out free WiFi but for some reason only my laptop will connect to it in certain parts of my house, which I dont mind I just have to sit in a certain spot on my couch and it works perfectly. Now the problem is my desktop can find the connection but it can't connect. So I was looking into a way to send the signal from my laptop to my desktop and i found i could create an ad hoc connection but apparently that only works if I have a wired connection connected to my laptop... so I did more research and found the my Windows 7 laptop has a "Virtual" wireless connection I could use as a repeater to get the connection on my desktop but I cannot find any detailed instructions on how to do this. Can anyone help me??
