How to send pictures to your Twitpic by the samsung propel?

i have a samsung propel and is sending a picture to your email the same as as if your sending a regular picture message?? cause when i try to send a pic to Twitpic i just do like any other pic message but instead on the recipient i put the email address that twitpic gives you. i did that but it doesnt work :P can some one give me STEP BY STEP instructions on what to do??
