...change in formatting.? i 've mailed an html docment created in office 2007 to my friend. she has office 2003 on her system. when she opens html doc. in internet explorer windows ,it shows difference in formatting ? how to send it with same formatting?
 
You can either save the document in Office2003 format by using the drop down Document Type in the save dialog or your friend can go to the microsoft office update site and get a small update for their office to allow Office2007 documents to be read correctly
 
when you go to file > save as.. office 2007 does give you the option of whether you want the file to be compatible with 2003 or not. at least i know this is true for .docx and .doc files, so just snoop around the SAVE AS settings
