phone number! Please help!? I want to text my dad in Japan, but I can't figure out exactly what phone number to send it to.
When I call him, I dial 01181906307****, but I need to decipher this to see which numbers are just the japanese phone number and area code so that he will receive the text.
I know 011 is America's dialing-out code, and 81 is Japan's country code. So is 906307**** the phone number itself? Or is any part of that unnecessary?
I have sent texts to both 8190630**** and 906307**** as well as with any other combination of country codes and he hasn't gotten any of them. I just confirmed with Verizon that I can send international texts, and I know my dad's phone can receive text messages, so it must just be the wrong number I'm sending it to. Please help!! would there be any other numbers added for any reason? He lives near Tokyo but I don't see why any part of his cell # would change.
