how to sell bike without title in hand

Hi all,
I am thinking about selling my bike with the second baby coming along. I have seen in different ads that they can get the title to the buyer in three days or so. Currently the bank is holding the title. Can anyone tell me how to sell the bike without having the title in hand? Thanks.
 
you can sell the bike with a lien. you just need to get the money to the bank to release the title. they'll send it to you and then you sign it over to the buyer. the time it takes for the bank to release the title depends on the bank. sometimes its a week, sometimes its a month
