The other day my younger sister was crying and having a fit. She ended up splashing water all over the room, and some of it of course landed on my phone. It's been three days now. I've put it in rice; it doesn't work. I have the LG Xenon, and i can still make and receive calls and it can still send text messages. Basically everything except the screen works (and the cellphone is pretty useless without the screen), because the screen stays completely dark. I've also tried vacuuming it. If the light shines on it right, I can see a tiny drop of water under the screen but I'm unable to get it out!
The water was only on the cellphone for a minute or two, but it wasn't even that much!
One time my sister lost her cellphone in the snow and a few days later when the snow was all melted we found it by the sewer. It still works, so why doesn't mine after only a couple of minutes of water exposure? There is no "water damage" sticker, and the phone still turns on.
Please, if you have any ideas as to how to fix it, please respond! My parents won't get me a new phone until the contract expires, which isnt for another year and a half. I don't have enough money to pay for my own, but if I did, I'd buy one because I bought this phone too.
