hi Subrata, I've just got an Archos 5 IT and no-one has yet discovered how to gain root on it. it's currently running with firmware 1.6 (Donut) along with some tweaks Archos have made for it. I'm comfortable enough in Linux and have adb up and running on Windows XP and on Ubuntu, running in a virtualbox. any help or tips would be extremely helpful, thank you.
